Critical Requirements

Please arrange access availability to your vehicle precisely 30 minutes prior to our visit while we begin exterior treatment processes. Additionally, it’s essential that parking facilities are made available for our technicians during the time they spend working on your vehicle.

Appointment Scheduling

It's crucial we inform you that selected appointment times represent a one-hour arrival window. Ensure enough time following scheduled arrival allows completion without rush of optimum servicing.

Potential Extra Charges

If conditions necessitate additional labour compared to our standard for this package an added fee might apply. This surcharge helps allocate sufficient resources enabling us restore prime condition in accordance with highest standards set by us here at My Mobile Valeter & Detailer. Our technicians also have the right to cancel the valet if the vehicle is found in a worse state than the standards of the package booked as it may delay them for their next valets.

Please be advised that any defects or concerns with completed work needs to be advised within a 24 hour notice period. Engine bays cleans for the relevant packages/ add on will be cleaned at you discretion. Note that all vehicles will be video recorded before and after works are carried out for quality control purposes.

Diamond Cut Alloys are becoming increasingly common, and can be identified by having large, flat shiny surfaces, backed by a darker paint around the inner rim and inside spokes. Diamond Cutting removes a very slight layer from your alloy, getting rid of surface corrosion, scratches, and light chips. Being fully mobile with our CNC machine, we can come to you, meaning we can get your alloys looking as good as new without inconvenience.

Price Per Wheel

Your first wheel is priced at £130, however, the more wheels you add, the cheaper the cost per wheel! Please add these in the extras menu at the next step of the booking process.

Photos Required

Due to the varying nature of wheel damage, after booking the support team will require images of the affected areas in order to confirm the booking and quotation. Please note, alloys that show extensive damage may require additional work and therefore a surcharge may be applied. Please send these through to info@mymobilevalereranddetailer.co.uk upon making a booking.

Fully Mobile

Just like all My Mobile Valeter & Detailer services, our alloy refurbishments are fully mobile and able to be completed at the roadside, removing the inconvenience of taking your car to expensive garages and losing your car for days.

Please ensure your alloys are cleaned sufficiently prior to the service taking place. This is to prevent any dirt being caught under the lacquer. Please also ensure that there is no tyre shine present on your alloy. This is to prevent the lacquer from reacting with the tyre shine.

Parking Required

Parking within close proximity to your vehicle is required for our technicians to perform the repair.

Electricity Required

You will be required to provide access to mains electricity. All extension cables will be provided by our technicians.

Locking Nut Required

As we will be removing your alloy, we will need access to the locking nut.

A SMART Repair means a Small, to Medium, Area Repair Technique. This is a specialist method of repair, carried out only by highly trained and skilled technicians. A SMART Repair will specifically target the damaged areas of your alloys, removing all scuffs, scratches, and paint chips to restore these areas. This is followed up with a fresh undercoat, and a paint blend that will fade around the rim and down the spokes to make the fresh repair inconspicuous. The alloy will then be relacquered and heat cured to give a fresh new look.

All Types of Regular Alloys

From 17" alloys to 21" alloys, regardless of color, shape, or size our technicians can repair all types of regular alloys. Please bear in mind, if you have Diamond Cut alloys these will require a different method of refurbishment and our customer care team will be in touch to discuss this with you.

Not suitable for Diamond Cut Alloys

Diamond cut alloys require a different process of refurbishment than regular alloys. FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Do I need to provide parking?

Although this is a mobile car cleaning service, for the valet to take place the agent will require parking next to your vehicle or in close proximity to it. As it is a fully mobile service, this does not have to be on a driveway at your home, but can also be carried out on a public road as long as parking is available.

What’s your cancellation policy?

You are able to cancel your valet free of charge up to 24 hours before the start time. Less than 24 notice will result in a 25% cancellation fee. If you cancel the valet within 30 minutes of the start time, you will be subject to a 50% cancellation fee.

Do I need to provide water and electricity?

Unless you specify on our booking page that you are able to provide a water and electricity supply, you will only be able to book mobile valeting companies that are able to complete the wash using their own resources.

Can I reschedule my valet if the weather conditions aren’t suitable for it?

Your valeter would be able to advise if the wash can go ahead or it’s best to reschedule. This is based on the package you have booked and if you have any shelter available for your home car valet to take place. Every valet is evaluated on a case by case basis, and your valeter will contact you if a reschedule is required.

Do I need to be present for the duration of my valet?

No you don’t, however depending on the valet booked you may need to provide access to the interior of your car. We would advise being available to meet your valeter upon arrival so they are able to begin the wash on your car smoothly.

How can I speak to my valeter directly?

The best way is to process your booking through the app, this would allow you to be in touch with your valeter directly via our messaging system. Should this not be possible, please contact our customer support team who will be able to assist with any queries relating to your valet.

Can I add multiple cars to my booking?

Yes, if you would like to have the same valet done on multiple cars by the same technician, you have an option of adding a second car from the list of extras. If it’s more than 2 cars or differing valets, we would be happy to assist you in creating a booking to your requirements.

Can I add on additional services to my valet?

Your valeter is able to carry out a range of services not listed in the package description, all of which can be conducted fully mobile. Should you require an extra add on to your valet, these can be located in the ‘Extras’ menu during the checkout process.

How can I reset my password?

If you need to reset your password for the app, you will need to go to the log in screen and press to 'log in'. There is then a link that you will be able to tap saying 'forgotten password'. By entering the email under the account you will then be sent a reset password link to that email address.

Is it possible to cancel and/or reschedule?

Yes. You can reschedule your order through the app in the booking details page. Depending on the stage of your order you may be subjected to additional charges. Please note, once a Valeter is en route or has started the wash, a refund will not be possible.

How do I claim an offer?

You'll be able to redeem your wash offer when you download the app. Enter your discount code on the payment page when booking your wash. All offers are subject to a limited time only.

Can I pay with cash?

Wash Doctors is a 100% cashless service. You can secure a booking on the app using any of the following options: Visa, MasterCard, American Express debit/credit card or Paypal.
